Alice Wallace

The first annual California Country Awards were held in Long Beach, CA, on Dec. 16, 2017, and Alice Wallace was named Female Vocalist of the Year.

Alice and her band also received nominations for Song of the Year and Music Video of the Year for their latest single on California Country Records, "Echo Canyon," but Los Angeles-based band Honey County took home those awards for their song "Love Someone." See below for photos from the event, as well as the full list of award winners.

Happy to be the first to comment & congratulate Alice, Tom, Josh & Austin on your well deserved awards. Have seen you 5 times now in 2 1/2 months & together you are one the freshest, brightest singer & artists I’ve heard in years! (And as a ‘child of the 60s-70s’ I have seen & heard a lot of great music in 60 years). Alice’s voice is absolutely amazing; Tom’s pickin’ on that Telecaster is the perfect compliment & THEN SOME to her vocals & Austin & Josh lay down the just the right rhythm & beat that ...just ...beautifully. Wish you all continued success. Will keep spreading the word that you HAVE to be seen! And will do all I can to bring or send as many friends to as many shows as possible. (Hell I’ve given your CDs to friends all over the country & hope that the momentum keeps growing for you).
